Behavioral Ecology and Macroevolution
Welcome to the Rubin Lab! We use behavioral experiments, macroevolutionary techniques, and physiological analyses to study the evolution of traits in animals. We primarily focus on predation as our evolutionary driving force and use sensory ecology principles to understand our systems through predator and prey perception.
Please see the Research tab for more information.
Our lab will be moving to the Biology Department at Texas Tech University, beginning January, 2026.
**The Rubin Lab is currently recruiting PhD students to begin as early as Fall 2026!**
